We believe that the study of music contributes to a full life, and that long term growth of musical skill and awareness is also it's own reward.  Our mission - to develop human potential - is based on the conviction that the arts are humanity's greatest means to achieve personal and social growth.  In our lessons we pursue a solid, healthy approach focused on artistic discovery and personal achievement.  Students have performance opportunities along the way, including recitals, concerts and jam sessions.  We work to build and strengthen a community of insightful, curious musicians and enthusiastic music lovers!

Media City School of Music has it's roots in 2002 as a home based business giving piano lessons to neighborhood kids in the founder's living room.  In 2015, MCSM ran an online fundraising campaign to offer music scholarships in our newly opened school.   It was the most amazing feeling to know that people all over the country wanted to give kids they might never meet the life-changing opportunity to learn to play music.  Through these generous donations, we were able to establish our first scholarship fund.  This was very exciting, but we knew we had to do more.

Fast forward to 2017.  Media City School of Music converted to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.   We are currently accepting donations to continue to build our scholarship program.   Your donations are tax-deductible, but best of all, you will be adding music, art, and joy to the world.   Click the link below to donate to our program.   Every donation is appreciated and goes towards funding lessons for students without the means to afford them.   Thank you!

Our mission is to spread music education to as many people in our community as is possible, including those who don't have the means to be able to afford it themselves.  We actively run fundraisers and solicit donations from music companies and the wider community that is interested in helping fund one on one private lessons and performance opportunities for qualifying students.

Our facilities

Our lesson rooms are fully stocked with everything students and teachers need to make the most of their time together.   Guitar and bass amps are provided, so that students needn't haul an amplifier in.   In addition we have a large space for Band Academy featuring acoustic drums, keyboards, microphones and PA, as well as a selection of bass and guitar amps.
